8,500 3dmark06 Score with 8800GT OC 512mb
Well I had made a post about this a bit ago and people who thought that it was my CPU bottlenecking and/or a bad GPU.
Well I had tried 3 different BFG 8800GT OC 512mb cards sent from BFG and they all score between 8,000-8,500.
I have the 169.21 drivers.
My 12v rail is something like 12.21v so I don´t think it´s my PSU.
My CPU may BN but not that much because the one guy posted getting 10k and he had the same setup as me but he had vista and a 3800+.
It´s not the GPU as ruled out before
Motherboard maybe?
The thing I don´t get is that I get much better performance out of my x850xt on everything except 3dmark06 but I think that´s only because x850xt doesn´t have SM3.0 or something.
Another thing i don´t understand is I get 95FPS on the steam stress test in Counter-Strike: Source but I used to get 150FPS on it. My x850xt gets 110 and my 8600GT OC got 148fps (but I sold that when i got my 8800).
Any ideas?
