"Immunization survey" at Cartoon Cuts
I know, what am I doing at Cartoon Cuts? (Read below if you really care
.)
So, after ds got his hair cut, the cashier asked us to fill out an "immunization survey" and place it in a large box on the counter for a chance to win a free haircut! I was initially excited and dh nearly had to restrain me because I wanted to write all sorts of fun things on the form. For example: "Did you know that 15% of two-year-olds in our county are not up to date on their immunizations?" My imagined response: "That´s really sad. The number should be much higher."
Or, "Did you know that babies receive shots at 2, 4, 6, 12, 15, and 18 months of age?" (Oh, that´s what those appointments are for. I´d better call my doctor right away!)
And, "Did you know that the fourth dose of DTaP and the second dose of MMR are the most commonly missed shots?" (Can´t think of a good response for that one!)
Then I saw that it was in cooperation with the county health dept. and they wanted your name and phone number of course. Uh, no thanks.
(So we were at Cartoon Cuts because ds, who most likely has sensory issues, and definitely has very difficult hair, used to scream during haircuts. A friend recommended CC so we went. We found a stylist that we love. She gets his hair perfect every time and he loves her and haircuts.)
