My niece´s experience
She´s uninformed and totally does whatever the ped. says and I try to help her without being too terribly pushy. Her baby was a preemie... 5 weeks early When she went in for her 1 yr. checkup in the fall, she was still recovering from pink eye. Not only did they give her all her vax´s that were due, but also the flu shot. She got terribly sick and the ped. even said to her that the flu shot gave her the flu. I was furious and felt soooo sorry for her baby. I wanted to strangle that ped´s neck. He claims that pink eye wasn´t enough to weaken her immune system so the vax´s were fine to give. Do they regularly give the flu shot PLUS all their vax´s together??!!
That is crazy!! I just can´t get over it. I´m still researching, but just remembered this story and wanted to share it.
