Just found out my Grandma was in the hospital.
Apparently she got a flu vax last week and developed an infection at the site (large red swollen welt, from what I hear- this is what my dad told me after he talked to her). It got so bad she was admitted to the hospital for IV antibiotics. Grandma is convinced the doctor used a dirty needle (ummm... personally- if the thought that my doctor would even consider using a dirty needle was in my mind I would have ran far far away, but whatever...). Now I´m curious.... dirty needle/infection or vax reaction? I´m sure we´ll never know.
