I was watching NOW on PBS last night and the host was inteviewing Laurie David. Laurie is enviromentalist who produced An Inconvenient Truth. naturally when it came out everyone said to her, "Gosh,you need to offer this up for schools." She said, "Yep, it would be great." And so she and her team contacted....National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) so they could distribute them if they wanted. They said...... ´NO THANKS´. ExxonMobil, Shell Oil, ConocoPhillips and the American Petroleum big quiet contributors to National Science Teachers Associations. She by the way was not saying... Put the DVD in classrooms... she was saying, "here´ we´ll give you a bunch of DVDS so that science teachers can watch it and if they want to put it in there they can or not...´ But look how money from those companies stopped the distribution.... Sound familiar? Pharms pay who? what? when? how much? gross.
