joomla help

i want to learn how to use joomla cms system effectivly. i went out and purchased a book on it have read a few hundred pages and still feel like i know nothing about it. does anyone have a site with tutorials or an ebook that can help me out? or does anyone have time to help explain this for me? any help would be helpful. thanks
